A downloadable card game

The age of humankind is over. The beasts of this land do not know what caused it, but humans have long since fallen from their role as the dominant species of the world, if there are even any left. The once great cities of humankind have fallen to ruin, but they were not the only thing humans left behind. Animals roam the streets, hunting and foraging to survive. The ruins hold untold dangers, however, and the ones who go it alone typically see far fewer mornings than those that band together. Safety in numbers is a harsh reality in this world, and the creatures that recognize that live far longer.

Only one can lay claim to all of it, and your competitors won't be laying idly by. You already see them moving for control. So what will it be, beast? Will you claim that throne? Will you be the next Apex of this City of Beasts? Or will you accept whatever fate awaits you in the jaws of whatever creature gets there first?

City of Beasts is a 2 to 4 player deck building card game about rival packs of animals competing for dominance in a post-human post-apocalyptic world. It is heavily inspired by games such as Ascension: Chronicle of the Godkiller and Star Realms. Card back, frame design, card mechanics, and rule were all produced by me. All card art is placeholder art found online. Originally all art was not intended to see light of day so no record of artist credits was kept. My Adobe Photoshop subscription unfortunately has expired, otherwise I would remove the art but I currently cannot modify the files. Due to ethical concerns I won't accept any donation for this game.
